Nonprofit Mindful Leadership
The most important thing a nonprofit has is its leader. And leaders need to be well.
Burnout in the nonprofit sector isn't a personal failing — it's a structural epidemic. Leaders are asked to carry the mission, manage the team, satisfy the board, chase the funding, and somehow remain inspired while doing it. Most leadership support focuses on strategy and systems. Very little of it focuses on the person doing the leading. I help leaders have the wellbeing support that I needed when I was an ED.
What I offer:
One-to-one mindful leadership consulting: For nonprofit founders, executive directors, and senior leaders who are running on empty, losing their sense of purpose, or simply want to lead with more presence and less depletion. We work together on an ongoing or sessional basis — at a pace that suits you. This isn't coaching in the traditional sense. It draws on my 13 years as a nonprofit co-founder and ED, my mindfulness practice and teaching, my chaplaincy training, and my firsthand experience as a caregiver and someone who has navigated my own breakdown and recovery. I bring all of that to the table — and I know how to listen.
Burnout prevention and recovery: For leaders who can feel themselves heading toward the edge — or who have already gone over it. A structured, compassionate program combining mindfulness practice, honest reflection, and practical strategies for building a more sustainable relationship with your work.
